toi toi experiment
mission 3: Overland
In the summer I love looking at the golden brown of the hills under the late afternoon sunlight. The long fluffy grass always looks so inviting, I just want to jump and play in it. Or lie there with a girl and daydream. This time of the year the rich rolling hills are all gold.
The procession was turning east. This is a hill on the journey. We all know how farmers have shot guns and that any boys who sneak onto their property to put up weird formations of pesky plant art forms would almost certainly be gunned down on sight. Atleast that is what we had running through our minds as we went ducking for cover each time we heard a tractor noise in the distance. Apart from that, the installation was much easier than anticipated but the shape of the landscape only allowed me to take photos at a range much closer than hoped. I wanted greater distance. Oh well. Atleast this time I only had to pick half the amount of toi tois to get the effect I wanted.
